Line Leader (Manufacturing)

Our client is a very well established manufacturing company based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire

They are looking for a Line Leader to work within a manufacturing cell to:

•Act as first point of contact for production associates within the cell
•Drive performance through robust training to create a multiskilled team and maintain relevant documentation (SWK, SOP's)
•Support actions to deliver business and departmental KPI's
•Identify and relieve bottle necks to maximise productivity
•Develop and sustain maintenance activities (TPM)

The Line Leader's Education and Background Experience will include:

•Minimum 5 GCSE's at grade A-C including English and Maths
•Previous experience of electronic assembly and diagnostic skills including hand soldering
•Experience of leading a team, ideally within a hand assembly environment
•Experience gained in a lean manufacturing environment would be advantageous
•Good IT skills, including the use of MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint
