£25,999 to 31,500 plus excellent benefits package

The Tool Setter - Machine Operator will be responsible for production targets, maintaining quality standards and machine tool changes.
To ensure that all safety standards are adhered to.

Main Responsibilities for the Tool Setter -Machine Operator

To assist in the training and development of staff.
To ensure that all products manufactured conform to product specification and are in accordance with specifications, customer requirements and budgeted outputs.
To ensure that all personnel under the Machine Operator's control carry out their duties in a safe, efficient and quality conscious manner.
To ensure tightest possible control over material usage and wastage.
To ensure quality control measuring equipment is kept in good working order.
To ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
To carry out plate, tool and product changes within targeted times after training is received.
To ensure the company hygiene policies are adhered to.

Ensure all communication between yourself and your colleagues is clear and delivered in a professional manner.
Maintain effective accurate systems and records that can be accessed at any time by colleagues.
Share workloads covering sickness and holidays. Be proactive to assist with colleagues temporary increased workloads.
Have a flexible approach to changes in working relationships and working methods.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues at all times.

To ensure compliance with the Organisation Environmental, Safety and Employment Legislation policies.
To ensure allocated machines are controlled, giving every regard to safety standards.
To report any defect that may pose a safety hazard.
To report or correct any defect to product or machine that may result in reducing standards of quality or safety of machines.
Ensure that all personnel under the Machine Operator's control carry out their duties in a safe, efficient and quality conscious manner.

The hours of work for the Tool Setter - Machine Operator are 4on-4off shift rotation working 12 hour shifts. Day and Nights
