The CNC Miller will:
Program, set and operate CNC milling machines in order to manufacture high quality, precision machined
Duties for the CNC Miller
To machine components from a range of raw materials to the exacting standards of the engineering drawing
Components should be manufactured utilising the relevant measuring equipment and by following the
company's Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures ensuring quality, timely manufacture.
Work Experience / Educational Requirements for the CNC Miller
Experience within a precision engineering environment, programming, setting and operating a CNC milling machine
with Haas or Fanuc based CNC control.
Must be able to read an engineering drawing and use all relevant measurement equipment.
Experience using a 5th axis and machining castings would prove advantageous.
Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship
Hours of work 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday Overtime available at time plus half
